Dr. Dawson earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. He completed his internship, residency in internal medicine and a cardiology fellowship at Eugene Talmadge Memorial Hospital, also in Augusta. He also completed cardiology fellowships at Georgia Baptist Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Dawson currently is in practice with The Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians group, Piedmont Hospital campus.
