Dr Maze told me there is no such thing as antiviral drugs and that they do not exist. She was referring to what I might have right now. She did not clarify that she meant this specific condition and was EXTREMELY rude when I told her antiviral drugs are a thing. She then backtracks and says she was being specific for what I might have. She then claimed the “patient doctor trust” has been broken and refused to give me a doctors note. This immaturity and egotistical mindset is found in second rate doctors and SHOULD NOT be allowed to perpetuate. I think she thought “this white guy thinks I don’t know what I’m talking about” when in fact I am also African American. I only say this because this is honestly how some African American women act when they believe they are being threatened. I truthfully REALLY TRUTHFULLY hate to say this but that was the most ghetto experience I’ve EVER had with a doctor. Literally talks over me as I’m trying to explain. She should feel so embarrassed. She decided to cancel my appointment and not right me a doctors note and chuckled a bit as if it was a victory for her. This is why people like this will stay as interns
