Dr. Motola is also distinguished by having earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the prestigious graduate school of UTSW Medical Center, which is home to 6 Nobel laureates. His doctoral work has led to ground breaking discoveries in the fight against intestinal parasites.
