Nhp was great, I had it before they were United. It was super inexpensive and the doctor options were great, It had a low co-pay and prescriptions were always free.
Every time I gave my United Health Care card at my doctor's office, my claim was rejected. I had to call the customer service to get payment all the time.

I went to pharmacy and gave insurance info. They then told me I wasn't covered or in system So I had to pay full cost. Next morning I called help line and they fixed problem as I was online.

We could not get approved for a shoulder to get fixed for 6 months my mother was in so much pain and could not lift her arm up we saw the doctors they made her shots x rays take pain pills she hated , MRI more pills more shots ,after 6 months we just paid the doctor 6000 to fix her should she was fine in 3 weeks

We had this a couple of years ago through work. It was about like any other insurance, and cheaper than I expected (but has since gone up a lot.) One thing that really stands out though is how much they didn't cover. We took our son to the pediatrician for his 9 month check up. They had us fill out a simple questionnaire about his motor skills and development. Our insurance billed us $60 for that. $60 because we filled out a questionnaire. It was crazy and no amount of calls or arguing would make them cover that.
