Manatí Medical Center (MMC), opened its doors to the community in 1984 with the name of Hospital Dr. Alejandro Otero López. Since its inception, the hospital provides hospital medical services at the secondary level. With the initiative of a group of doctors, the way was opened to build the institution that in a few years would become the best qualified in the area.
