The cornerstone of Cape Fear Valley Hospital was laid in 1954, and the hospital opened in 1956 as a 200-bed county hospital. Today, the medical center is a robust regional medical center located in the growing metropolitan city of Fayetteville, N.C. in Cumberland County.
Cape Fear Valley Medical Center specializes in heart care, cancer treatment, and surgical services. We have a full-service Family Birth Center as well as a Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to care for the tiniest members of our community.

Cost is outrageous. My son had two stiches and it was on Thankgiving day it cost us with insurance over 1700 dollars. I called up and complained about the bill and the lady said that there is a 1100 dollar check in fee. WHAT? That is crazy. Also you don't just get one bill you will get many bills. one for doctor, one for hospital, one for the anesthesia, and one for the pharmacy.
