Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, Indiana is a critical access hospital. Critical access is a federal designation for hospitals with no more than 25 inpatient beds, an annual average length of stay of no more than 96 hours for acute care, 24/7 emergency care and located at least 35 miles from another hospital. By being a critical access hospital, Gibson General is able to offer a special inpatient rehabilitation program called Swing Bed. We also offer a pain management center, breast services with 3D mammography, and the Multi-Specialty Health Center where ENT, cardiac, digestive, allergy and other specialty physicians see patients.
