I took my husband here for two years straight and they would tell me his depressed, drug seeking, and/or dehydrated. He was 195 lbs. at the time. He kept getting worse and worse. He was down to 132 lbs. when my mother in law decided we needed to take him to another hospital 20 miles away. I agreed and we convinced him to go. As soon as he went back they immediately ran tests on him and already knew he was going to be admitted. The did a CT SCAN with contrast of his chest and abdomen along with one of his brain. The found so many granulomas over my husband's body that they were even shocked. The first through it was stage 4 cancer because what he has mimics the disease. Two weeks of every test under the son and making sure he didn't have any type of virus or infections they diagnosed him with Neurosarcoidosis. Before they could treat him they needed to wait until every test for infection came back because the treatment for this condition could increase the infection or virus which could kill him. He was going downhill so bad that I had to decide if they should start the treatment or wait for all results to come back. I knew he didn't have an infection or virus so I agreed to the treatment. One bag of IV steroids' had him feeling so much better he was up cleaning his hospital room. This hospital doesn't care about you. They get an idea in their head and just won't think of any other option. He wasn't drug seeking or depressed. He was in so much pain he lost the ability to do anything. They treat a few symptons and send you on your way. They even told me that I needed to figure out why i felt like I needed to cough and it was all in my head. Acute Bronchitis is what I had and still have now.
