Medical West Main Campus is a 310-bed hospital offering a full range of healthcare services including emergency services, rehabilitation, medical imaging, orthopedics, women's services and more.
The Medical West Emergency Department is a Level 3 Trauma Center designed to provide emergency care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Medical West Main Campus operates a 17-bed unit, with a four bed overflow unit used for our less acute care patients. The Emergency Department is located on the ground floor of the UAB Medical West Main Hospital. The Medical West Ambulatory Surgery Center offers residents of Alabama the latest in surgical care. This facility is designed for the comfort, safety and convenience of our adult and pediatric patients. Our board-certified physicians and team of qualified specialists are dedicated to providing quality healthcare to each of our patients.
