Ihor Fedorak, MD, is a practitioner of bariatric surgery that works with all aspects of general surgery, specializing in gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy and adjustable gastric band. With a deep commitment to the patient care and recovery process, Dr. Fedorak is fully committed to putting his patients first, weighing all possible approaches to treatment both surgical and non-surgical. He dedicates himself to empowering each and every patient he sees with the respect, knowledge and insights needed to help guide the treatment plan to its best possible result—ensuring the same level of care, standards and quality that he looks for when it comes to his own family.

Dr. Fedorak earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1985, followed by a surgical residency training program at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine (1989-1994).

When not treating patients, Dr. Fedorak’s interests include spending time with his wife, Dr. Ellen Arendt, as well as fly-fishing, upland hunting, cycling and skiing.
