Meredith L. Staton has been a certified physician’s assistant since 1997, working in internal medicine before joining UCBC in March 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lee University, Cleveland, TN, where she graduated magna cum laude, and was a dean’s scholar, member of Alpha Chi International Honor Society and recipient of the National General Chemistry Award. She earned a second bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from the physician’s assistant program at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where also was a 4-semester Dean’s Scholar. Meredith is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the state of Georgia, and holds memberships in the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology as well as the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.
