Not Veteran Friendly. Dr. Evins refused service to my spouse who is my caretaker. She has ChampVA through me as a total and permanent disabled veteran. Champ VA was slow paying a previous claim so they demanded payment up front which we did not have. When i told Dr Evins of my disability situation she laughed at me and said she doesnt give free medical care. We were not asking for free just that she understand ChampVA is slow paying providers. This office is not Veteran friendly and I suggest avoiding this doctor due to that reason. Being unwilling to help the caretaker of a 100% permanent and total disabled veteran is shameful. Since this issue, we have found a veteran friendly doctor that was willing to provide good care to my spouse and will get paid via ChampVA albeit a bit slower than normal.
