His experience includes serving as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Medicine; Chief of Hematology & Oncology Section at the Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System and Site Director of the fellowship training program. During his time at the University of Oklahoma™s Health Sciences Center, he was the awarded the Faculty Teaching Award.Dr. Khalil did his residency for Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and his fellowship for Hematology & Oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.Dr. Khalil is an accomplished writer, researcher and presenter. He chose to specialize in cancer-related treatments because of the many advances in the field and his passion for helping people. Dr. Khalil is bilingual and fluent in both English and Arabic. Outside of work, he stays active with his hobbies including cycling and photography.
