my doctor of many years, dr. patel retired--and dr. friend, his replacement would not renew the ambien for sleep that i have been on for 18 years for chronic insomnia. i explained all of my history to him. and i have tinnitus. ambien the only medicine that worked for me. now i am facing withdraw symptoms. what can of doctor would just drop a patient like that? the office said they would reorder the medicine for me, but when i went to pick up the ambien, they never called it in. a note was left that he wouldn,t fill it, that i needed to see another doctor. but i did not find that out until i went to the drugstore to pick it up. and he was very rude at the first visit. the office only accepts insurance and i do not have insurance but they refused cash payments. now i am try to find a dr that can help me so i don,t have withdraw symptoms. i am scared of the rebound insomnia. i need my job. he is a horrible people person.
