Dr. Spencer received his medical degree in 1991 from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine. He then completed a residency in family medicine with the University of Alabama/Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. He has been on staff with Washington Regional since 1994 and has experience in rural health care, emergency medicine and private practice. He enjoys applying the science of medicine to the real-world issues of modern life. He is a native of NWA. He and his wife have two grown children and two West highland terriers. He enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking, playing outdoors and spending time with his family.
