Dr. Andrew Goodman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University with a degree in biology. He earned a medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Duke University. He completed fellowship training in both cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. During his cardiovascular medicine fellowship, Dr. Goodman served as chief fellow.
Dr. Goodman has coauthored a number of articles addressing vascular heart disease and the treatment of aortic stenosis. In 2015, he was selected as a finalist for the Samuel Levine AHA Young Investigator award for his research in aortic stenosis.
He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
