Dr. Nidal Harb was born and raised in Jerusalem. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees in Leningrad. Dr. Harb completed a Fellowship in Cerebrovascular Research at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, a Residency in Internal Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Harb practiced as a consulting cardiologist with Medical Associates in Clinton, Iowa. He has held various positions including President of Medical Staff, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Director of the Catheterization Laboratory, member of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association and Mercy Health Network.
In 1998, Dr. Harb went to Jerusalem and worked as a volunteer consultant to the Ministry of Health. He played a major role in modernizing cardiac care in the country. Further, Dr. Harb has been involved in research and participated in numerous international clinical trials. He presented scientific papers at national and international meetings.
