My IVF Journey with Dr Gautam Allahbadia

I am a 40 year old lady working in the media sector, I was married at 35 and me and my husband started planning for a baby 2 years back. We were busy in our careers and we overlooked the fact that a women’s fertility declines with ageing. I tried to conceive for about 4 times but no positive results. I almost went into depression, but my husband didn’t loose hope. We had already consulted gynecologists in Delhi, Chandigarh and Bangalore. Each one gave us a hope but got no results with medications and the treatments they gave.

 

My sister’s friend had consulted a fertility specialist in mumbai, she underwent an IUI treatment a few months back. We went to this doctor, Dr Gautam Allahbadia in his mumbai clinic. I would say Dr Gautam’s experience says it all, he explained us the fertility issue and the most feasible solution for it. He suggested me to go in for an In Vitro Fertilization.

 

We were a bit scared and unwilling to proceed as we previously heard about the medical constraints and effects of such assisted reproductive techniques. It took us around a month to agree to Dr Gautam and go for IVF. So my IVF journey began and their were both high and low times during this entire process.

The journey ended on a very happy note and that was the day, I remember 3 January 2019 was the luckiest day in my life. We were blessed with a healthy baby girl.
