The Ephraim McDowell Health system is a comprehensive, integrated healthcare delivery system that serves more than 119,000 residents from six counties in central Kentucky. At the core of the system is Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, a non-profit, 222-bed licensed hospital. Our other hospitals are Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital located in neighboring Lincoln County (Stanford) and Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital located in neighboring Mercer County (Harrodsburg).

I was involved in a car wreck and was brought to this hospital. I was extremely nervous. Not only because of the wreck but because of the pandemic. The doctors and nurses took excellent care of me. They were very thorough and very caring. They also followed all safety precautions so my fear of covid was quickly put to ease. I felt I received great care and would use this facility again for needs in the future.
