Founded in 1967, Doctors Hospital of Sarasota is a 155-bed facility located on a wooded campus, minutes west of I-75 at Bee Ridge and Cattlemen Road. We have earned our reputation by caring for people as individuals, not just treating their medical problems. All of our rooms are private and spacious. We continue to invest in life-saving technology. We provide medical and specialty services as well as outpatient services and diagnostic and rehabilitation services. We have designed our facility with you in mind to provide an easily accessible hospital that meets the growing and changing healthcare needs of the communities we serve.

i had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in my colon. The doctors and nurses were fantastic. The nurses listened to every thing i said and tried to remedy any problems i had or answer all questions immediately. The food was not fantastic, but then again i was on a bland diet while there...i just remembering the first day i was allowed a normal breakfast thinking yuck...lol.
