Paul C. Nehra received his undergraduate degree, with high honors, from the University of Notre Dame. He is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center in 1983. Since 1985, he has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and holds privileges at St John Hospital, Detroit, Michigan; Beaumont Hospital of Grosse Pointe; Beaumont Hospital of Troy and Henry Ford Cottage, Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He is a member of the Executive Committee at St. John Hospital. He holds faculty appointments at Wayne State University School of Medicine as Clinical Associate Professor and is an Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
He is a member of the Detroit Medical Academy. He has also been published in major journals including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology and The New England Journal of Medicine.
