Carmen Lafia, MD received her undergraduate degree from the

University of Michigan. She then attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. After completing residency, she wanted to return to Michigan to serve the women of her home state.

She is passionate about women’s health and loves taking care of women of all different ages. She understands that gynecological concerns can be hard to talk about and she enjoys making personal connections with her patients. She has experience in high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecological surgery.

Dr. Lafia is affiliated with the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is married, has a daughter and a bulldog! She loves traveling and trying new restaurants.
