Dr. Gershon Ney is a board certified neurologist with 25 years of clinical experience in a wide range of clinical settings. He is fellowshipped trained and has an extensive foundation in the treatment of epilepsy. He served as acting director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Associate Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at New York Hospital Queens. There is extensive overlap between epilepsy, developmental disabilities and autism. As such Dr. Ney has deep interest and extensive experience in treating challenging patients with epilepsy and these comorbidities. Sleep disorders is another clinical interest and the doctor is board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
