Aimee grew up in the redwood mountains of northern California surrounded by free roaming deer, wild raspberries and pine trees . She loves calling Portland home for the past 8 years, except sometimes she misses a summer evening when the fog comes rolling over the pines just off the porch.
Alternative care such as chiropractics, acupuncture and massage has always been important in Aimee’s life and she’s fascinated by the physiological change and magnitude of mental, emotional and health benefits of massage therapy. She decided to attend massage school and graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in early 2018. From there she completed an Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage course and set to work in a clinical setting right away. There, she learned how to treat and provide therapeutic care for a wide variety of chronic pain and injuries.
Aimee’s goal is not only to aid in relief of physical symptoms but to also hold space for the act of self care.
When she’s not in the massage studio, she can be found in her art studio painting and teaching art classes, hanging outside with her dog Martha or kayaking.
