She spent many hours shadowing, volunteering, and immersing herself in the field before focusing her education toward achieving this goal. Dr. Erika was born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida before going on to pursue a degree in Dentistry at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, which included vast experience in restorative dentistry, esthetics, implantology, and pediatric dentistry.
