Dr. DeMutiis graduated with honors from the University of South Florida in Tampa, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus. Postdoctoral education with a functional diagnostic medicine and clinical nutrition education is ongoing at Functional Medicine University. Dr. DeMutiis has extensive training in clinical nutrition and functional medicine, as well as in treating orthopedic and spinal conditions. Additionally, Dr. DeMutiis has years of hands-on experience providing orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation care for professional athletes and elite Division 1 athletes at the University of South Florida. The experience I had with Dr. John DeMutiis was the best medical experience I have had in my life. First, the office was very clean and the appointment was on time so I didn't have to wait long to be seen. The staff was very friendly, caring and sweet. Dr. John worked in my Orthopedic group, when i injured both knees i was referred by my other spine doctor to see Dr. John. There is more than one knee Specialist in the group but when my Spine Surgeon said see John and my Physical Therapist also said, see John, i knew he must be good. I was beyond impressed with him. I can't say enough good things about him as both a doctor and as a person. He is possibly the nicest doctor I've ever met. I was in a lot of pain, no mobility, and knees kept hyper extending. i was explained all my options from his very compassionate diagnosis and after 3 months of treatment I'm feeling great. He truly did make a huge difference with conservative action in a short period of time. I have already recommended him to numerous people. You will not be disappointed and you'll never see another doctor again if you choose Dr. John to help you.
